Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) are innovation workspaces established in schools across India under the Atal Innovation Mission by NITI Aayog. These labs are designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among students from Class 6 to 12 by providing them with access to tools and equipment like 3D printers, robotics kits, sensors, and microcontroller boards. ATL encourages hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and promotes a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by allowing students to experiment, build prototypes, and work on real-world challenges.
